Presentation
My primary motivation was to lay my hands on scores that are unpublished or, at least, have never been recorded. From this resulted long work, spread out over several years, with a certain gestation proving to be indispensable before the final performance of the pieces in question, which does not pretend to propose definitive versions. I hope that this "Phonic Design" will constitute a good work tool or source of inspiration for upcoming generations of violinists putting together their programmes and looking to go beyond Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas, the Paganini Caprices or Ysaÿe’s two Sonatas.
